The infrared-transmitting transparent sheet "GAT" is a resin sheet that simultaneously transmits "visible light" and "infrared light," primarily used as a protective cover for electrical equipment such as distribution boards and panel boards. Generally, materials like acrylic and vinyl chloride, commonly used as protective covers for electrical equipment, are transparent but do not transmit infrared light, making it impossible to conduct infrared thermography inspections through these covers. Since "GAT" transmits both visible light and infrared light, it allows for the simultaneous execution of safe and efficient visual inspections and infrared thermography inspections through the cover. By combining it with condition-based maintenance (CBM), which is gaining attention as a method for maintaining electrical equipment, it contributes to safe and efficient inspections, reduction of maintenance costs, and stabilization of quality through reduced downtime.
